We are almost at the end of three fast weeks in Dublin. The first one we settled in, the last one we went on Dublin adventures and the middle week, the kids were in camp so I got to enjoy Dublin by myself and I spent one glorious week catching up with friends.

I mentioned here how a friend who moved home to Ireland in 2017 was completely baffled by the donut shops which had cropped up on every available surface in the country since she’d left. Wanna meet for a game of paddle? Do you fancy a run? Will we go for a walk? No, it was none of these things.

I simply couldn't believe the very first activity, which multiple friends suggested when I said we must meet up. Do you know what I'm gonna say?
